About the IELTS Test
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test of English language proficiency which assesses your level of skill in listening, reading, writing and speaking. It is internationally recognised and administered in over 210 centres world-wide.
The test is used as an indicator of English language proficiency for entry into universities, TAFE (Technical andFurther Education) colleges, secondary schools and colleges in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and English language medium universities in Asia (eg. in Singapore). who intend to enrol in secondary schools in an English-speaking country
or follow a non-degree or non-tertiary course, for example, a diploma or
certificate course at a TAFE or business college. You may also take this
module for immigration purposes.
