This is the second volume in the Teaching in Action series. The aim of the series is to present research-based activities that classroom teachers have developed and trialled in the classroom, reflecting their experience and points of view. The first section of the book provides theoretical perspectives and a brief discussion of research findings, while the second section is practically oriented and illustrates the insights, materials and strategies explored by teachers in their research. Navigating to read – reading to navigate demonstrates the scaffolded activities developed by teachers across Australia to help learners read and navigate the Web.
