This new version aims to align the material in the original book to the needs of language educators. It will do this by adding a new section called ‘How to use this book’, including new grammatical descriptions which are essential knowledge for language educators, linking the content of all chapters to language education, and by adding a new chapter specifically for language educators. This new version will be a set text for an Open University course in the UK.
